Cheerleaders hit their stunts for round three. The Hornets finished as runners up at their home competition on Feb. 7.

The cheer team took second place at their home competition on Feb. 7.

Clio won the competition with a total score of 752.34 points.

Kearsley was 11.18 points away from tying for first.

The Hornets received a score of 228.4 points for round one, 204.46 points for round two, and 308.3 points for round three.

Sophomore Jada Brown said that the team “enjoyed the support” from their Kearsley fans at the home competition.

“We got one of the highest scores at our home competition,” Brown said. “We do so much better with the home support because it really boosts the team’s enthusiasm and stamina to do better.”

Kearsley’s next competition is Feb. 11 at Linden.
