The tennis team held its second annual skills challenge on Wednesday, May 18.

Senior Lindsay Nofs, at No.1 singles, won.

At No. 3 doubles, junior Bree Rosenbum finished in second place.

And senior Jasmine Patrick, at No. 1 singles, finished in third place.

The categories were based on service speed, service return, forehand accuracy, and backhand accuracy.

All Kearsley players competed against one another for points.

Those with the most points after all categories were completed won.

Patrick was excited about taking third place at this year’s skills challenge.

“Last year I won first place, so I am happy I was able to place in the top three again this year,” Patrick said. “It was a lot of fun, and I am sad that it was the last skills challenge I will ever be able to compete in on the KHS tennis team.”
