Tennis falls to Carman-Ainsworth

Junior Alysa Figgins, No. 4 singles, won both sets 6-0 against Carman-Ainsworth on April 1.

The tennis team lost 5-3 to Carman-Ainsworth on April 1.

The singles players led the team.

Junior Lindsay Nofs, at No. 1 singles, defeated her opponent, 6-1, 6-1.

At No. 3 singles, senior Hailey Oryszczak won 6-0, 6-2.

Junior Alysa Figgins won both sets 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles.

Figgins was impressed with the performance of the team during their matches.

“I thought the team did very well even though we didn’t win,” Figgins said. “As a whole, we played well, and most of the singles did a great job winning their matches.”
