Junior Brian Sams led the Hornets with a 41 against Flushing on Tuesday, April 12.

The golf team lost to Flushing 161-178 at the Flint Elks Golf and Country Club on April 16.

Junior Brian Sams led the charge, shooting a team low 42.

This was the Hornets second of four events against Flushing this season, and their only one with a home-course advantage.

Senior Evan Flood had 44 strokes, sophomore Connor Vansteenburg shot a 45, and freshman Jack Vollmar tallied a 47.

Vollmar managed to hit fourth best for the Hornets, despite having golfed for the varsity team only once before.

Flushing’s Joe Montpas shot the low for the event with a 40.

The Hornets next eventĀ is April 28 at Swartz Creek.
