Trenton Rupert is truly admirable. He has great character and has overcome many hardships, yet, he does not let that stop him from proceeding with life.
Rupert suffers from a tissue disorder in his knee that prohibits him from playing sports. Despite this, he challenges himself with AP or advanced placement classes. He has taken 4 in total: AP Calculus (AB), AP Government and Politics, AP Microeconomics, and AP Macroeconomics.
Rupert has two siblings and parents. His brother, Dominick Rupert, is 21, graduated from Mt. Morris High School. His sister, Savanna Rupert, 19, graduated from Kearsley and is attending Oakland University and pursuing criminal justice. His parents, Josh and Cassandra, are both Kearsley graduates.
After high school, Rupert wants to pursue a career in physical therapy and attend Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU.) He plans on staying in the dorms and exploring college life and the community.
In ten years, Rupert sees himself in an office doing his job as a physical therapist. He does not have a second career in mind. After university, he plans on moving into an apartment with his girlfriend, Natalie Devine.
Rupert is currently top 50 in his class with a 3.5 GPA. Due to the challenging classes he has taken, his GPA is slightly lower than he anticipated. Over his high school career, he has become good friends with Chase Parr and continued his relationship with his girlfriend. As he prepares to go to college, he is keeping up with his academics and social life despite senioritis.
Overall, Rupert demonstrates extreme strength and resilience. By coping with his tissue disorder and continuing to pursue his dreams, Trenton shows promise for the future.
