Everybody remembers Mrs. Hill for the work she does in the main office at KHS, and she is one of the most recognizable people at the High School. From helping out staff, students, and parents, to organizing the seniors’ graduation, Mrs. Hill is the foundation of our school. However, Mrs. Hill’s career extends beyond Kearsley, and into her personal life.

Mrs. Hill has an excellent family that supports her all the way. Mrs. Hill has been married for thirty-nine years, has two sons, a stepdaughter, and three grandsons (including one that is on the way!) Due to her love of her family, she has a strong work-life balance, meaning she has equal time for work and family. No matter what difficulties she is facing, everybody knows that she has the support of her family and students around KHS.

Mrs. Hill has many motivations that keep her going at KHS. First of all, Mrs. Hill likes the money that comes with having an office job. However, Mrs. Hill’s biggest motivation for working at Kearsley is her caring for the schools and their students. Being around the students makes her very happy and is her favorite part of every school day.

When asked about her advice for anybody that wants to work in an office, Mrs. Hill stated, “Believe in yourself, be organized, and just enjoy it.”

However, Mrs. Hill’s life goes back to before she was in our office. Mrs. Hill had a very happy childhood and a good upbringing, which allows her to reflect on her past and learn from her mistakes. If Mrs. Hill could change one thing regarding her past, she would go to college, as she wasn’t able to because of having to start a family at a young age. In addition, because of her struggles in high school, it started to bring her down at times. Despite the tribulations, everybody knows that no matter what stands in her way, Mrs. Hill is there to combat and bring joy to the school.

Overall, Mrs. Hill is one of the friendliest staff at Kearsley High School, and that is not just based on what she does. She is one of those people that cares about her students and family. In addition, she does not take her students for granted, meaning they can make great relationships so that the students are happy. Because of all of the amazing qualities Mrs. Hill possesses, she is one of the best staff members that we have all come to know and love over the years.
