Growing up in the local area has allowed Krause to build strong connections with her school and the people around her. As she continues her high school journey, she is discovering her interests, setting goals for herself, and learning more about herself along the way.
One of Krause’s favorite classes so far is ceramics. She enjoys the class because it allows her to express herself creatively while working hands on with different materials. look back on and see how close we are now from then.”
This memory is meaningful to her because it represents great growth and connection. It

also shows how relationships can develop over time during the high school years.
Like many students, Krause has faced many challenges during her time in high school. One of the biggest obstacles she has encountered involves friendships. Adjusting to new social situations and meeting new people can be very difficult, especially as students grow and change. Krause explained, “It’s hard meeting new people and losing friendships.” This challenge has helped her learn important lessons about communication and understanding the values of strong relationships.
Krause is also involved in athletics. She played volleyball during her first year of high school and chose to take a break during her sophomore year. However, she plans on returning to the sport next year. Volleyball played a big role in helping her meet new people and feel connected to her school. She states, “I gained so many friends from volleyball and I love team bonding.”
Academically, Krause is proud of herself for maintaining good grades and continuing to learn new things. She works hard to stay focused on her schoolwork and understands the importance of education. Her motivation and dedication definitely reflect her desire to succeed both now and in the future.

Looking ahead, Krause already has plans for life after high school. She hopes to attend college and pursue a career in the medical field. She stated, “I want to go to college and I want to become an ultrasound technician.” While she is still exploring her options, Michigan State University and the University of North Carolina are two schools she is considering. When asked why she chose this career path, she shared, “I just have always wanted to do it. It’s something I’ve been interested in.” Her passion for this career shows her determination to follow her interests and work toward a meaningful future.
Outside of school, Krause enjoys her free time doing a variety of activities. When asked about her hobbies, she said, “I like bedazzling things, hanging out with family and my boyfriend, and cleaning and organizing.” These hobbies reflect her creative side as well as her appreciation for spending time with loved ones and staying organized.
Music also plays an important role in Krause’s daily life. She listens to almost every genre and does not have a specific favorite. Music helps her relax and feel connected to her emotions. She shared, “I like Megan Moroney and Gracie Abrams because their music is relatable.” Being able to connect to lyrics and emotions is something she cherishes greatly.
Krause holds herself to high standards and has strong expectations for her future. She is a motivated student who understands the importance of setting goals.
