Mrs. Renee Kotzian, choir teacher, will lead the choirs in a pre-festival concert on Feb. 25 and 26.

The choir classes have been prepping for their pre-festival concert, which will take place Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.

The concert is a way for the choir classes to prepare for an upcoming festival that the A Capella and Treble Singers will be performing at on Feb. 25 and 26.

Mrs. Renee Kotzian, choir teacher, is excited for audiences to get to hear some of the songs that will be performed at the festival.

Kotzian said, “The audience will get to hear what festival music sounds like, and (see) how hard (the students) have been working.”

All of the choir classes will be performing at the concert, along with solo performances from senior Samantha Redick and junior Zackary Broughton.

“This year, we’ve got a great group of kids, and they sound great,” Kotzian said. “They sound like a choir. I’m excited for audiences to get to hear that sound.”
