One of the sweetest things about Christmas is the cookies. Cookies are a big part of Christmas time. Whether people buy or make them, decorate or don’t decorate them. There are many different kinds of cookies, especially during the holidays.
Some people make and decorate Christmas cookies with friends or family. Take junior, Hailey Dennie, for example. “My whole family gets together on Christmas eve, and make cookies, open one gift, decorate more and just have a good time.” Dennie mentioned, “every year we make our own cookies. We have different designs, different brands or even types and flavors.” She continued, “My great grandma made a special cookbook with many different things for holidays.”
Dennie stated, “I have always liked sugar cookies, but I like to decorate any type of cookies.” Many people like to leave their cookies plain, but some like to decorate them and make cool designs.
Junior, Joslyn Bowman, said, “Gordon Ramsey frozen sugar cookies,” are her favorite. She mentioned, “I buy the sugar cookies. We buy the same cookies every year!” There are many different kinds of cookies around the holidays, but sugar cookies are the signature Christmas cookie.
