Senior Jacob Lucius led the Hornets’ offense in game one’s victory over Brandon 2-0 on May 14.

The baseball team won both games of its doubleheader against the Brandon Blackhawks at home May 14.

For the first game, the Hornets won 2-0.

St. John and Driskill also led the offense. St.John had two hits and Driskill knocked in two RBI.

Junior Liam Grathoff said the team’s success this season has come directly from its pitching staff.

“Our pitching has been extremely solid,” Grathoff said, “and I hope we continue our momentum.”

For junior Noah Jankowski, the Hornets’ fielders have backed up the pitchers with solid defense.

“This has been a great year for Kearsley baseball, and I’m extremely happy with how our defense has performed,” Jankowski said.
