Kearsley swept Holly in a doubleheader 10-0, 11-1 on April 21.

Softball swept away Holly in a doubleheader on April 21 at home, the final scores were 10-0 and 11-1.

Sophomore Lauren Jolin said the Hornets played well despite the poor weather conditions.

“The weather was horrible,” Jolin said. “We were all freezing.”

Jolin credited her pitcher: “Sydney Ouellette, our pitcher, had freezing fingers but did well.”

“When we were all in the dugout we had hand warmers,” Jolin said. “They played through it with few fielding errors.”

Freshman catcher Kaitlyn Foco was the only one to hit a home run in the games.

“It was exciting,” Foco said. “It was a rush.”
