Senior Bryce Jenkins scored 17 points in a loss against Clio on Feb. 27.

The boys’ team faced Clio on Feb. 27 at home, losing 64-52.

The game began with the Hornets taking the lead by one, scoring 10 points in the first quarter.

Both teams added 16 points in the second quarter. At halftime, Kearsley was up 26-25.

However, in the third quarter, the Mustangs picked up their game and pulled past the Hornets, outscoring Kearsley 20-10 in the third quarter.

Kearsley’s top scorer was senior Bryce Jenkins, scoring 17 points.

Seniors Jaden Gallery and Anton Webster also added 12 points apiece. Gallery made four three-pointers, and Webster made five free throws.

The loss put the Hornets at 10-8 overall, 7-7 in league action.
