“We started off with a rough first half, but the second half we pulled together to make it a fun and close game,” White said. “I was really proud of how the team came together, even with the girls in foul trouble, to make it a close game.”

Sophomore Rachel Tolley scored 12 points.

The girls have one more game before playing in the district tournament.

A fan of the Hornets, Junior Tyler Schwerin said, “The girls fought hard and erased a 20-point deficit. I really enjoyed watching the girls. They put up a good fight. It was a barn burner.”
