KBH United ties with the Metro League Griffins

On Feb. 11, KBH United tied with the Metro League Griffins 3-3 at the Hartland Ice House and Sports Center.

The Griffins are a combined team from Fenton and Linden.

KBH United scored all of its goals in the first period and then hung on for the tie after giving up three straight goals in the second period.

Junior Kross Kenny scored the first goal, assisted by Brauher and senior Steven Niles.

Shawn Larsen, senior, scored two goals, and one was KBH playing short handed.

One of his goals was assisted by Kenny and the other by Holly senior Scottie Brauher.

The hockey team’s next game is Feb. 14 at 11 a.m. against Dewitt/St. Johns at the Perani Arena.
