Bowling team holds tryouts next week

Starting next week, both boys and girls bowling will hold tryouts for the junior varsity and varsity teams.

In previous years, the girls varsity bowling team has brought home a state title from the MHSAA state championship four years in a row.

Junior Alexis Roof has been a part of the bowling program for five years, and is excited for the season to begin.

“I think that we are going to have a good turn out just like all of the other years,” Roof said. “I can’t wait to see what this season has in store for our program this year.”

Tryouts for both teams are as follows:

Cost of tryouts will be $5. This is a one-time fee.

The girls will be bowling three games each day of tryouts. The top seven bowlers will make the varsity team.

The number of junior varsity teams will depend on the number of girls who try out.
