The dance team is excited that basketball season has begun.

Why? Because K-Motion performs at all home basketball games for both JV and varsity boys.

In addition, the team dances during some girls basketball games when the timing works out.

The first performances are Tuesday, Dec. 13.

The team has practiced really hard and has expanded, having a total of 15 dancers.

The dancers recently had K-Motion’s annual hip hop clinic for elementary students.

The clinic is dedicated to working on skills with the children and teaching them a dance that they will later perform at a game.

During the first game, the clinic routine will be performed at halftime.

Freshman Kaley July is beyond ready for game day.

Both July and her brother, senior Erick Lara, are on the team.

“I am excited that both me and my brother made the team,” July said. “I love dancing, especially with my brother. This game is going to  be a blast.”
