Kearsley’s choir classes have been working tirelessly on their songs for their upcoming holiday concert.

Men’s Chorus, Woman’s Chorus, A Cappella, and the after-school Melody Makers began working on holiday songs for the concert right after their Meet the Choirs concert in late October.

The holiday concert will feature Christmas hits and will take place Thursday, Dec. 10, at 7 p.m.

Tickets are free and Mrs. Renee Kotzian, choir director, encourages everyone to come see the show.

“I think it’s going to be really good,” Kotzian said. “I think we have a great selection of music.”

According to Kotzian, she has “upped the ante” for this concert — each choir student is doing at least four songs apiece instead of the two that were done in the last concert.

After returning from surgery just before Meet the Choirs, Kotzian worked hard at helping the choirs prepare for the holiday concert.

“I think we’re going to be ready this time,” Kotzian said.
