The soccer team won its match against Millington on April 24 with a final score of 9-1.

Junior Anessia Dell, striker, was the top scorer of the match,with a total of four goals and one assist.

Senior Lauren Dellaposta and freshman Marysa Gatica each contributed two goals.

Sophomore Lexi Kelly also contributed a goal to the final score.

The match was scheduled at the last minute and, because of that, two of the team’s seniors were unable to be at the game.

Coach Marshall Paterson said, “From a team point of view, we are pleased with the way we coped with having two of our senior players unavailable tonight.”

The team’s next match is April 27 at Flushing at 6:45 p.m..
