Girls bowling takes down Linden

The girls bowling team defeated Linden 30-0 Thursday, Dec. 21, at the Grand Blanc Lanes.

The match against Linden was originally scheduled for Dec. 13, but was cancelled due to snow.

During the Baker games, the Hornets bowled 170 and 166 to Linden’s 128 and 107, taking a 10-0 lead.

The first individual game started off well, bowling a 1,070 actual team score, which is the highest team game in the state so far this season.

In the last game, the Hornets had a 981 actual, shooting 2,051 total for the two games.  This is also the highest two-game total in the state so far in the season.

Kearsley won every point, making the total pinfall 2,387-1,514.

The Hornets are now 5-0 in the Metro League.

The next competition will be the Davison Mixed Doubles Tournament at Richfield Bowl on Saturday, Dec. 30.
