Crossroads’ Holiday Magic opens after Thanksgiving

Crossroads Village kicks off the holiday season with its Christmas at Crossroads Holiday Magic opening night on Friday, Nov. 27.

The park will be decorated with Christmas lights and a fireworks display will end the night.

Sara Yencer, Kearsley alumna and Crossroads employee, said that the event is a place to “celebrate the holiday we all know and love.”

The opening night celebration is from 4 to 9 p.m.

The Christmas celebration continues for five weeks with specific dates listed on Crossroads’ website.

For Genesee County residents, the admission is free. For non-residents, the admission is $10 or $13 with a train ride.

Junior Erin Davis has enjoyed her visits to the village.

“Families with younger children would enjoy it the most, but even at my age I thought it was a great experience,” Davis said.
