White, Streit push golf past Swartz Creek

Senior Carryn White was the co-medalist with junior Sarah Streit in the golf team’s match against Swartz Creek.

The golf team defeated Swartz Creek 184-204 in a non-league match Tuesday, Sept. 16.

Senior Carryn White and junior Sarah Streit tied as medalists, both shooting a 44.

Sophomore Mackenzie Ryckman’s 47 strokes earned her third place.

Swartz Creek’s best shooter, Neeley Peterson, could only manage a 48.

The Hornets raised their record to 2-3 overall, 1-1 in the Metro League.
