Once the weather gets hot, let’s be honest, everyone wants to wear the least amount of clothes possible. So what are our options?

There are a few things that are crucial to a summer wardrobe

Shorts

Every girl has their favorite pair of shorts that flatters their figure and makes them feel confident.

There are a variety of styles to choose from. There are denim shorts, both light and dark, that go with anything. Then there are the loose shorts that are airy and comfortable, usually worn with our favorite comfy top.

Bathing Suits

OK, ladies, let’s be honest. We have too many bathing suits, and we have favorites — ones that flatter our figures and ones that we keep in the back of our dresser used only in desperate occasions.

And, when it comes to bathing suits, there is no such thing as having too many.

Rompers

Rompers are the best of both worlds. They are shorts and a tank tops combined into one article of clothing. How much better can it get? Rompers can be dressed up or dressed down.

By wearing heels or wedges, it intensifies the outfit, making it more dramatic. Flip flops and messy hair, however, can make the romper into more of a causal outfit.

Cover-ups

Sometimes we wear cover-ups because we have to when we are at nice hotels or simply somewhere where walking around in just a bathing suit is not acceptable.

Although we want everyone to see how adorable our bathing suits are, we love to show off our cover-ups too. They are airy and a easy thing to throw on.

Sunglasses

Some of us have brand-name glasses like Ray Ban, and some of us have many pairs of all color and size from our favorite stores like Target, Forever 21, and Charlotte Russe.

When it comes down to it, we have at least two in our car, one in our purse, and a few more lying around the house.

Sandals and Flip-Flops

I am guilty of owning too many shoes, more than I should admit, but we can never have enough. And we can never fight the urge to buy them.

Sandals are for more casual yet fancy events. They can help to make an outfit dressier, but flip-flops are for the beach, the grocery store, or quick errands.

Every girl needs these types of shoes for the summer.

Hats

Floppy hats and baseball hats are my personal favorite.

Floppy hats are for hot days on the beach but also for fancy dinners when you want to cover your head. Baseball hats are more for casual events or volleyball on the beach.

These hats will not only protect your head and eyes from the sun, but they will make you look cute doing it.

Fanny Packs

Fanny packs are a fashion statement that help keep all the things you need in one spot. The thing with fanny packs is they are not like a purse and are much safer.

So if you are at the beach, instead of carrying around a cross body purse, it is more convenient to have something clipped to the front of you.

Crop Tops

Forget what girls say or, for that matter, what anyone says, if you want to wear a crop top, then wear it and rock that crop top.

Most importantly, be happy with your body and don’t let people make you feel any different.

Crop tops are cute with high-waisted shorts. They help you avoid showing too much skin, keeping it in moderation.

Beach Bags

Every girl needs a beach bag no matter what.

Sometimes our purses are just not big enough to carry all the things we need, like snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses, cover-ups, and hats. All these things cannot fit into a purse, so it is always better to bring a beach bag.

Summer is a time meant to be spent in the sun, so wear clothes that allow you to do just that.
