Boys varsity tennis played in the Flint Metro League Tournament on September 30.

This year the Kearsley Hornets got the responsibility of hosting the Flint Metro League Tennis Tournament.

All singles flights, along with doubles one, were held at the Hornet’s courts. Doubles two through four were held at Clio.

For his first round match doubles three senior Cayden Lewis was put against a player from Corunna.  Lewis won this match with an impressive score of 6-4, 6-1.

“I think everyone tried their best,” said senior Dominic Demetriou, “this is the first time in many years that someone from our team has gotten through the first round at Metros, and I think that is a testament to how much we’ve grown in the past several years, especially Cayden Lewis.”
