The Mustangs were victorious on their home court against Kearsley, winning 58-33 on Friday, Feb. 22.

Although falling short, sophomore Conner Cooper led his team with 10 points.

Sophomore Jace Chapman scored an additional eight points, while senior Saif Dawan scored six.

Dawan said Clio’s team made for tough opponents.

“We didn’t match Clio’s intensity, and we came out too flat,” Dawan said. “We let them go on a run and the game got away from us early. They stuck to their game plan and outplayed us.”
