The soccer team lost three of its games in the last week.

Carman-Ainsworth

Carman-Ainsworth shut out the Hornets Monday, Sept. 24.

The Cavaliers scored five goals in the game hosted by Kearsley.

Corunna

Kearsley beat the Cavaliers 6-2 on Thursday, Sept. 20, at home.

Senior Logan Loyer and junior Noel Gagne scored two goals apiece, while senior Duy Nguyen and junior Dominic Perez also netted one goal apiece.

Linden

The Hornets lost at Linden 8-0 on Wednesday, Sept. 19.

The Hornets defense remained strong throughout the first half, only allowing Linden to score two goals.

However, during the second half the Eagles scored six more goals shutting out the Hornets.

Kearsley’s next league game is Monday, Oct. 1, at Swartz Creek.

In the Metro League, the Hornets are 0-4 and the Dragons are 3-1-1.
