I played in the snow on our second day off.

Tuesday, Feb. 3

After hearing the good news Monday night that school was cancelled for Tuesday, I planned to sleep in late, but my dog had other plans for me.

She started barking at around 7:30 a.m. and that woke me up.

I checked to see what was making her bark and … nothing. Worst of all, I could not fall back asleep.

After the early wake-up call I had, I decided to catch up on all my new shows, like “The Vampire Diaries,” “The Originals,” and “Chasing Life.”

After I was all caught up on those, I reread my favorite book, “The Fault in Our Stars.”

I ate some bagel bites for lunch and then finally did my homework.

Afterward, I watched the movie “Valentine’s Day” in preparation for my next article.

So I guess you could say that I didn’t really do much. But I was relieved for the snow day anyway.
