The National Honor Society is hosting the Daddy-Daughter Dance on March 27 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m in the high school gym.
The Daddy-Daughter Dance is for girls in kindergarten through fifth grade.
This event counts as the NHS chapter event, or an event where all members must attend and serve. Chapter events are required of all chapters of NHS.
The theme for the dance is “Fairy Garden.” There will be some NHS members dressed up as fairies to fit the dance’s theme.
NHS expects around 850 people to attend the dance.
The decorations committee has been working hard for weeks to get all of the decorations made for the dance.
Junior Alysa Figgins said, “We are making fairy garden decorations for the little girls. The flowers will be made out of paper and fabric.”
The decorations committee will also be making fairy lanterns out of canning jars and glow-in-the-dark paint.
