Seniors will have their last high school dance under the stars at the Lapeer Country Club on April 27.

Tickets have been sold at lunch, and are still available in room No. 116 for $45.

But ticket sales end today, Friday April 12, at 3 p.m. No tickets will be sold at the door.

Dinner, access to a photo booth, and a key chain are all included in the price of the ticket.

Steak, chicken tenders, manicotti, roasted vegetables, Caesar salad, fresh fruit medley, mashed potatoes, and cupcakes will be served buffet style at the dance.

Seniors are also planning to have a class photo at 6:15 p.m. on the KHS football field before prom, which begins at 7 p.m.

Senior Mickeely Dias, class president, is organizing the meet-up before prom.

“It was started a couple of years ago, and it’s a nice way to incorporate everyone in the class,” Dias said, “especially people who have different picture plans before prom. Plus, you can see all of your friends.”

Senior Madison Kreinbrink can’t wait for prom.

“I’m excited to get photos with my boyfriend, and I’m excited to dance with my friends and have fun before going off to college.”
