The boys basketball team took on the LakeVille Falcons Tuesday, Dec. 4, at home, winning 68-31.

Kearsley’s top scorers of the night were sophomore Braylon Silvas and senior Trevor Shaheen with 16 points apiece.

Freshman Tyler Csintyan was chipped in 11 points.

Shaheen was also the top rebounder of the night.

Even though the Hornets defeated LakeVille by more than 30 points, Shaheen feels the team can improve.

“I feel that we played well, but not to our full potential,” Shaheen said. “There’s still a lot of work to do.”

Coach Paul Adas was content with team’s first performance.

“It was a good victory to start the season,” Adas said.

The Hornets will be back in action at home Friday, Dec. 7, against Bentley.
