Seniors share their expectations for college

For the seniors of KHS, the days of waking up at 6 a.m. for school is over.

Now, they’re moving on to bigger and better things, like starting college this fall.

Starting college can be both exciting and frighting, and it’s impossible to predict what to expect.

Below, four seniors share what they’re most looking forward to about college, what they’re least looking forward to, and what they’ll miss the most about high school.

What are you least looking forward to about college?

“I’m least looking forward to being eight and a half hours away from my friends,” Hawes said. “Like I’ve lived down the road from my best friend Grace for 13 years.”

What will you miss the most about high school?

“I’ll probably miss Student Council the most. Student Council was the biggest thing for me in high school,” Hawes said. “It really helped me grow as a leader and turn me into the person I am today.”
