The boys bowling team beat Brandon and Flushing in a doubleheader, Saturday, Dec. 10.

The boys bowling team beat Brandon and Flushing on Saturday, Dec. 10, in a double header, moving them to a 3-0 season.

The Hornets beat the Blackhawks, 23-7.

The boys won both of their Baker games, giving them a 10-0 lead.

The top rollers of the match were seniors Brandon Wheeler and Zach Timm and junior Chase Gebhardt.

Gebhardt thinks that the team could have done better.

“My team could’ve improved on communication and picking up spares,” Gebhardt said.

After the first individual game, the team’s total was 1,129, making this their highest pinfall this season.

The boys also beat the Raiders, 16-14.

Seniors Zach Timm and Aaron Linn led the team. Timm had games of 224 and 230. Linn’s consisted of 234 and 216.

Linn believes that the team worked well together.

“I would say that, as a team, we did a great job,” Linn said. “And with full efforts from everybody we were able to win both matches.”

The bowlers won the match 16-14, continuing their undefeated season.

The Hornets appear next in Bay City at Monitor Lanes on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 9 a.m.
