Talented girls make up the junior, underclassmen homecoming court

Homecoming court consists of three representatives from the Junior Class, two from the Sophomore Class, and two from the Freshman Class.

The junior court consists of Hailey Anderson, Jada Brown, and Jennifer Fraley.

Representing the Sophomore Class are Demia Johnson and Heather McNeill.

Finally, the freshmen are represented by Kennedy Bostwick and Stacia Tipton.

Juniors

Hailey Anderson

Anderson is 16 years old.

Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Nichole and David Anderson

Anderson loves hanging out with her best friends, junior Kaitlyn VanOoteghem and seniors Alex Mistretta and Hannah Brackin.

Anderson also participates in the robotics team and  is a freshman mentor.

“I love being so involved in the school. It makes high school more fun,” Anderson said

Anderson is honored to represent the Junior Class.

“I am thrilled to be on homecoming court,” she said, “and I am so thankful for this experience.”

Jada Brown

Brown is 16 years old.

Her brother Rylee Brown also attends KHS and was voted to powder puff court.

“I was so happy when I found out my brother and I were both on court,” Brown said, “as were my parents.”

Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Janairo and Katie Brown.

Brown has been a varsity cheerleader since her freshman year and loves nothing more than when competitive season comes around.

Brown also enjoys spending all her free time with her best friend, junior Mallory Teed.

“I was so happy for Jada when she got on court,” Teed said. “She really deserved it.”

Brown cannot wait to wear her dress and ride in her black BMW during the parade, but said she could not be more grateful of her classmates.

“I am really excited to be on court, and knowing that my class choose me to represent the junior class makes me feel overwhelmingly honored,” she said.

Brown will be escorted by junior Dylan Butterworth at the pep assembly.

Jennifer Fraley

Fraley is 16 years old and lives with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Bill and Marcell Fraley.

Fraley loves to play guitar. It has been a passion of hers for two years.

Fraley has also cheered on junior varsity team for two years.

Fraley was excited when she found out she would be representing the Junior Class.

“When I found out I was on court I was excited,” Fraley said. “It’s the first time I have ever been on anything like that.”

She will be escorted by freshman boyfriend Austin McConnell.

Sophomores

Demia Johnson

Johnson is 15 years old.

Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. DaRon and LaVon Johnson.

Johnson loves to cheer and run track.

Church is a big part of Johnson’s life, and she is a part of her church’s youth group.

When Johnson is not at cheer, on the track, or church, she enjoys shopping with friends.

Johnson was truly surprised when she heard her name announced for homecoming court.

“I am honored to be on court, I did not think people would vote for me,” she said. “I am incredibly thankful and excited people voted me on court.”

She will be escorted by senior Gerald Pano.

Heather McNeill

McNeill is 16 years old.

Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Linda McNeill.

McNeill loves to hang out with friends and play sports in her spare time.

She dances and is a member of the track and field team.

She has been on K-Motion, the dance team, since last year and has been dancing for 11 years.

McNeill is shocked that she is on court, and said she could not imagine a better way to spend her birthday.

“I was honestly shocked when my name was announced,” McNeill said. “I am very excited because the day I am on court will also be my birthday.”

McNeill will be escorted by freshman Gabe Munoz at the pep assembly.

Freshmen

Kennedy Bostwick

Bostwick is 14 years old.

She lives with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Ken and Angie Bostwick and her sister Kirsten Bostwick.

Bostwick loves to cheer in her spare time.

This is her first year cheering on the junior varsity team. She has been cheering since 7 grade.

Bostwick is grateful to have the privilege of being on court.

“I am happy to be on court,” she said. “It is an honor to be representing the Freshman Class.”

She will be escorted  by freshman Isaian Constunt.

Stacia Tipton

Tipton is 15 years old and lives with mom Mrs. Kori Wilson and dad Mr. Houston Tipton.

She loves to go shopping and hang out with best friends freshmen Jakeira Wash and Sydney Walker.

Tipton has a passion for basketball, volleyball, and track.

She is currently playing freshman volleyball and hopes to be on the basketball team.

“I am very excited to be on court,” Tipton said. “I did not expect to be the one representing the Freshman Class, but I am looking forward to homecoming.”

She will be escorted by freshman Marquez Williams at the upcoming pep assembly.
