The dance team will be hosting its annual Hip-Hop Workshop on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 9 a.m. to noon at the high school.

Children in kindergarten through fifth grade are eligible to participate.

Parents may register their children at the door on the day of the workshop for $25.

At the workshop, participants will learn a dance, make a craft, and be provided with a snack and T-shirt.

The dance, roughly a minute long, will be to the song “Show Stopper” by Danity Kane.

Participants will be performing what they learned at a boys’ basketball game this upcoming season.

The team’s dancers have been practicing for the workshop. They are excited to teach everyone that will be participating.

Junior Alayna Haack is counting down the days until the workshop.

“I think it will be a lot of fun,” Haack said. “I am really looking forward to it.”
