Guerra wins powder puff king

Senior Santino Guerra was crowned powder puff king Monday, Oct. 5. Guerra’s grandparents, Mr. Tony Fierros and Mrs. Silvia Fierros, escorted him.

Kearsley crowned its powder puff king between the semifinal games Monday, Oct. 5.

Santino Guerra won the honors after being presented along with the rest of the senior powder puff court, which was Liam Grathoff, Antonio St. John, Tyler Phipps, and Tyler Frasher.

Guerra was happy to hear that he won.

“I knew it was going to be close,” he said. “There were a lot of good candidates.”
