Girls’ track loses double-dual meet, McKay leads the Hornets
The girls’ team and field team was swept in its double-dual meet at home on April 15.
Kearsley lost to Holly 99-37 and to Fenton 95-33.
The top performers were sophomore Ave’r McKay and junior Diane Bond.
McKay ran second overall in three open events.
She ran the 100-meter dash in 13.53 and the 200 dash in 28.2.
In addition, McKay ran the 400 dash in 1:08.4.
Bond placed second overall the in 800 run in 2:48.1.
