Kearsley Scholarships due March 3
Students who need to turn in Kearsley scholarship forms will need to do so by Tuesday, March 3, at 2:30 p.m.
Forms will be turned in to Mrs. Jamie Jenkins, counseling secretary.
The forms include a list of awards, activities, and community service; a list of scholarships; and two letters of recommendation.
Students must also write a 350-word essay detailing why they deserve Kearsley scholarships.
Students can qualify for the scholarships based on their GPA, athletics involvement, and career goals.
Some scholarships, such as the Kearsley High School Honor Society Scholarship, require an additional essay.
The Paul A. Webster Memorial Scholarship requires an acceptance letter to be included in order to verify that applicants have gained admission to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor or Flint.
The Michael Lafia Achievement Scholarship, which honors senior athletes, requires that applicants include a wallet-sized photograph.
