Boys bowling loses two, places in tournament

The boys bowling team lost to Flushing and Swartz Creek Saturday, Feb. 1. Two bowlers placed in the top four at the Carman-Ainsworth Singles tournament Sunday, Feb. 2.

Over the weekend, the boys bowling team battled against Flushing and Swartz Creek and competed in the Carman-Ainsworth Singles Tournament.

The Hornets lost to both the Falcons and the Dragons at Holly Lanes Saturday, Feb. 1.

The Hornets fought hard at the Carman-Ainsworth tournament at Grand Blanc Lanes Sunday, Feb. 2.

Freshman Howie Hammond and senior Ethan Burke continued to fight as it came down to the final eight competitors.

As it came down to the final four, the two bowlers continued to stay in the competition.

In the end, Hammond placed third and Burke placed fourth.

Burke placed first in All-Tournament Team with a score of 890 for four total games.

The Hornets compete on Saturday, Feb. 8, against Fenton at Clio Bowling Arcade.
