Swim sinks against Corunna

The swim team lost to Metro League foe Corunna 122-51 Tuesday, Jan. 14.

The swim team dropped a Metro League meet to Corunna Tuesday, Jan. 14, by a score of 122-51.

The meet was the Metro League debut of the Lake Fenton-Kearsley squad.

In the 200-meter medley relay, senior Felicia Cunningham and sophomores Brodie Dustin and Mario Wells teamed up with Lake Fenton sophomore David Rampy to win in 2:10.39.

Rampy also won the 100 butterfly in 1:04.5 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:14.49.

Corunna scored many of its points in diving events.

The Lake Fenton-Kearsley team could not compete in any dives, as the team does not have any divers.

With a Metro League record of 0-1, the team sits in fifth place out of seven teams.

Going into its second League meet, the team will face the League-leading cooperative of Swartz Creek and Flushing Thursday, Jan. 23.
