On Monday, May 13, soccer tied Owosso. The team fell to Imlay City on Friday, May 10.

Soccer played two games over the weekend, losing to Imlay City and tying Owosso.

Owosso

On Monday, May 13, the Hornets tied the Trojans 2-2.

Sophomore Anna Sporman led the way with both of the Hornets’ goals.

Sporman is proud of the way the team played against the Trojans.

“We worked really well together,” Sporman said. “There were tons of good passes, and we held the ball more. Our defense really held it together and our offense also did really good and got around their defense.”

Imlay City

On Friday, May 10, soccer was no match for Imlay City.

The Hornets lost by a score of 5-0.

The girls will be back on the field hosting Flushing on Wednesday, May 15.
