The seniors on the soccer team won their last home game of the season against Mt. Morris by a score of 7-0.

The soccer team hosted Swartz Creek and Mt. Morris earlier this week, splitting their games.

Mt. Morris

On Tuesday, May 6, the Hornets beat Mt. Morris 7-0.

Sophomore Anna Sporman led the team with two goals.

Seniors Chloe Vollmar, Alexa Lippert, Amber Hardy, and Marianna Arambula, along with sophomore Miranda Hardy, chipped in with one goal apiece.

“It went really well,” Sporman said. “I feel like the first half was a little slow and we had some stuff to work on, but as the second half came, we started to work together and never stopped. The other team started to give up because of our pushing.”

The victory came as the team celebrated its graduating players on senior night.

Swartz Creek

Falling to the Dragons on Monday, May 6, Kearsley was outscored 3-0.

The Hornets will visit Imlay City on Friday, May 10.
