Many students worry they’ll never get their college acceptance letters.

Despite excellent grades and perfect attendance records, some students still experience anxiety when it comes to preparing for their transition into college.

October is an important month for high school seniors because participating schools encourage students to become serious about their futures.

With the help of Michigan College Access Network, schools now have the opportunity to support their students with college applications.

Students will also be eligible to file a FAFSA form to help determine what financial aid they may receive.

Senior Chyna Burton recently applied to a local college and for financial aid for her college expenses.

She expressed her appreciation for FAFSA and MCAN.

“It helped me take one step to a brighter future,” Burton said.
