The baseball team dropped two games to the Linden Eagles on Monday, April 30.

Kearsley fell 20-1 to Linden during the first game.

The team came back in the second game and fought hard, but still lost 9-5.

Freshman Kody Easton pitched a good game for Kearsley.

Freshman Bailey Palmer preformed well for the Hornets’ offense with three hits.

Mr. Chad Langworthy, Board of Education member, assists the team and was impressed with the team’s effort in the second game.

“The toughness they showed after getting beat bad was impressive,” Langworthy said. “But we have to cut down on the mistakes if we want to win and finish games.”

The baseball team’s next game is Wednesday, May 2, at home against Powers Catholic High School.
