The baseball team had a rough wrap up to its weekend.

Kearsley faced Owosso on Thursday, April 26, and Goodrich on Friday, April 27.

Goodrich

Kearsley fell to Goodrich, losing both games in the doubleheader.

The Hornets lost 10-2 during the first game.

Freshman Bailey Palmer had one hit, scoring his team one run.

The Martians shut out Kearsley in the second game 12-0.

Owosso

Kearsley split the doubleheader with the Trojans, winning the first game 9-4.

The game stretched out and ended up going for 11 innings.

Junior Dustin Bennett led the offense with three hits, and freshman Kody Easton had three RBI.

Easton also got the win for the Hornets, while pitching four scoreless innings.

The Hornets lost the second game 2-1.

Sophomore Ethan Livingston scored for Kearsley.

The baseball team will be back in action Monday, April 30, at home against the Linden Eagles.
