Golf fell 180-203 to Fenton on Friday, April 27, at the Coyote Preserve Golf Club.

After playing nine holes, senior Jack Vollmar led the Hornets shooting a 45.

Juniors Tyler Gronauer and Logan Loyer shot 51 and 52, respectively.

Shooting a 55, junior Stephen White finished fourth on the team.

Despite his team-leading performance, Vollmar was frustrated with the team’s loss.

“I don’t care how I do as an individual,” Vollmar said. “I care how we do as a team.”

The Hornets are now 1-2 in the Metro League after dropping their last two matches.

The team faces Clio on Tuesday, May 1.
