The Future Problem Solving booklet is a 13-page packet. Students used writing utensils, dictionaries, and the knowledge they had of processed foods to complete the six-step process.

Future Problem Solvers submitted their first booklet of the school year Jan. 9.

The 12 students applied a six-step problem solving process to the futuristic scene about processed foods.

Sophomore Sarah Streit is a seventh-year FPSer who worked on the booklet.

“I think it went well,” Streit said.  “We had fun, and we learned a lot.”

Jacobi Wright, sophomore, is new to the program.  This was his first booklet.

“I think it could have gone better,” Wright said.  “I will prepare more for next time.”

The next topic the three teams will cover is propaganda.  The propaganda booklet will determine which teams make it to the state competition in March.
