Boys bowling crushes Linden
The boys bowling team beat Linden 30-0 on Wednesday, Jan. 11., at Grand Blanc Lanes.
The team won both of the Baker games, taking a commanding lead early.
Senior Aaron Linn, one of the top performers in individuals, had games of 252 and 224.
Linn feels that the team performed very well.
“It was the best one (match) that we have bowled as a team,” Linn said.
Senior Bryce McKerchie rolled a 278 game and junior Jake Reid also bowled a 277.
The team had grand totals of 1,139 the first game and 1,180 the second game.
Linn said the team has a “good shot” at winning the Flint Metro League this season.
The Hornets are now 7-0 and in first place with Flushing one match behind.
The team faces Swartz Creek (5-2) next, meeting at Colonial Lanes on Saturday, Jan. 14. The Dragons are in third place in the league.
