The wrestling team hosted a dual meet and beat Mt. Morris 69-12 on Tuesday, Feb 2.

Nine Hornets won their matches.

They were seniors Joseph Molina, Jake Elizondo, Coi Jenkins, Brian Sams, and Travis Wildfong; juniors Dylan Tarrence, Zach Elizondo, and Matteo Frazier; and sophomore Andy Ruhstorfer.

In its second match, Kearsley squared off with Lake Fenton in a battle of two Top 10 teams.

Kearsley is currently ranked ninth in Division 2, while the Blue Devils are ranked third in Division 3.

The Hornets lost 50-18.

Zach Elizondo, Tarrance, Ruhstorfer, and Wildfong collected a win in this match.

The Hornets compete next in the Flint Metro League championship on Saturday, Feb. 6.
