The cheer team snatches second at Holly

Flyers hit their stunts during round three at Davison on Saturday, Jan. 16.
The cheer team took second place at a league meet hosted by Holly on Wednesday, Jan. 26.
The Brandon Blackhawks won the competition with 735.6 points.
With a total score of 728.8 points, the Hornets were only 6.8 points away from tying for first place.
They received a score of 223.3 points for round one, 200.78 points for round two, and 304.8 points for round three.
With only a few penalties, senior Alysa Figgins was happy with how the team performed.
“We have been doing well these last few competitions, and I am really proud of that,” Figgins said. “We started the season off a little rough but have improved tremendously.”
