The baseball team beat Holly back to back April 20 and 21, winning the former 11-2 and the latter 10-4.

In the first game, senior Tyler Kirkwood started on the mound and hurled five innings, striking out 11.

Kirkwood also allowed four total base runners, on two hits and two walks. His efforts earned him the win.

The Hornets had a flurry of two-hit batters, including seniors Driskill and Ryan Walker and juniors St. John, Liam Grathoff, and Ryan Bennett.

In the second game, junior Antonio St. John, starting pitcher,  picked up the win, while senior Alex Driskill came in as relief and closed out the game, earning a save.

Junior Noah Jankowski and senior Tyler Kirkwood provided the push on offense.

Driskill also picked up a hit.

The Hornets raised their record to 8-1-1.

Their next game is April 22 at Birch Run.
