It’s the holiday season, where we come together to watch a good movie and set the tone for the cold months. There are many different Christmas movies that have been cherished for years.
Reporters asked senior, Lydia Mclain, what her favorite holiday movie was, “Polar Express, because I grew up with it. For like five or six Christmas breaks we’ve watched it on Christmas eve.”
Polar Express has always been a favorite that everyone can recall watching at least once. During the Kearsley elementary school days, Polar Express was the most common movie teachers would present before winter break.
Senior, Annalisa Hanson, says her favorite Christmas movies are Elf and Home Alone. “I’ve been watching Elf with my brother, Tyler Hanson, and his girlfriend, Marissa. They watch it all the time no matter what. I also watched the second Santa Claus with Marissa. Personally, I love the movie Elf or Home Alone. They never fail to make me laugh, even after watching them for years!”
Elf and all of the Home Alone movies are classic movies to watch during the Christmas season.
Reporters asked junior, Jordan Craig, what his favorite Christmas movie was. He said, “Home Alone 2. Because it’s crazy and fast-paced. I watch it at least three times a year, including on Christmas.”
All of these Christmas movies are very popular and have been around for many years. The classics can never be beaten when it comes to holiday movies!
